The Camel Soap Factory is thrilled to have been named a winner in the annual Gulf Capital SME awards. “Being recognised as the Start-Up Business of the Year for 2014, is a major achievement for us” says Stevie Lowmass CEO and Founder of The Camel Soap Factory.
The awards, organised by MEED which partnered with Gulf Capital three years ago, recognise innovation, growth and success in the UAE’s SME market. The programme provides a platform for SMEs to raise their profile and highlight their brand, product and services.
“Impressive financial performance turned out to be a key factor in the determination of the winners this year, although all entrants were evaluated on many different levels, including innovation, sustainability, customer focus, employee engagement, corporate culture and management style, among other factors,” says Becky Crayman, head of awards at MEED. “In addition, each SME owner had to present their case before an esteemed panel of judges on why they thought they should be the winner in any of the 11 categories of the awards programme.”
